No Dumba$$3$ Allowed

The evening news last night showed something that nearly made me spit out my Coke laughing.  A man, who identified himself on camera as an illegal immigrant made the statement “We’re tired of being treated like second class citizens.”

Now, let’s break this down for those of you who don’t understand why I think this is really funny.  There’s just so much wrong with this whole thing.

  1. You’re a criminal.  You just admitted to breaking the law on camera and that you knew it was a crime.
  2. YOU ARE NOT A CITIZEN.  Webster’s defines citizen as “a native or naturalized member of a state or nation who owes allegiance to its government and is entitled to its protection.”  You are none of those things.  You’re not even supposed to be here.
  3. Your claim of second class is spurious at best.  You pay no taxes, yet you leech off the system.  And it’s awfully hard to be a second class member of a group you don’t even belong to.

  1. btw   I know some illegal immigrants. How did they get a car if they aren’t citizens? I’m kinda confused so I would like it if you explained that for me. please

  2. as an aside, try not to make too many assumptions about illegals, I have a friend who’s been here since she was a kid, her parents let her immigration lapse, and now she’s in her 20’s stuck here illegal, she is paying taxes and is working full time. But is in limbo at the moment. Not cracking on you too hard as I generally like your slashdot comments, just a gentle reminder that broad brushes catch more than what you intend.(bloodstar on slashdot)

  3. So, exactly what tax is it you think illegal immigrants don’t pay? They pay income tax if they work. They pay sales tax if they buy anything. They pay property tax, if they own property. I’m confused.

  4. Not only do illegal immigrants pay payroll taxes, chances are they’ll be unable to collect their social security due to their status.Frankly, I’m tired of people who refuse to see illegal immigrants as non-human. These are people just like you and me, looking for a better life – and many are willing to work their ass off at jobs U.S. teenagers wouldn’t be willing to do.This is a problem in part because we don’t care how Mexico treats its citizens.-on an unrelated note: Your blog would be easier to read if you would lose the “looser” when you need the “loser.” This is free advice so feel free to be loose with it, but don’t lose it.
