The commuter trains pulls into the station and has all the passengers get off, since it’s the end of the line. Once all the arriving passengers depart, the people who are leaving get on the train. Right after everyone finished boarding, the train crew starts a complicated procedure complete with several hand signals.
Curious, I ask them what they’re doing. They tell, in all seriousness, that they are checking the brakes on the train. They look surprised when I tell them, “Niiice…you check the brakes after we get on??”
